Why ? because he had 1 bad night in his career against a guy who everyone at the time was calling the p4p king

Yes. Just like "Titanic" had 1 bad night against the iceberg in the North Atlantic.

I'm going to have to take issue with this.

Imma put it like this hatton needs to just cut his losses and get out while he can cuz he clearly can't beat mayweather or pacman and in today's society if ur no longer in the running to beat these guys legitimately no one wants to see u.

They would have to find somebody in his weight class, what is King Kong Bundy doing these days?

I'm sorry, bro. My apologies to "Titanic".

I always thought Ricky cut out of boxing too early, but hey what are you gonna do? These guys make their own career choices and sometimes they know better, sometimes they mess up. I don't even like Ricky Hatton but I would have prefered he leave on a win and allow his fans to see him off in a farewell fight.

If Ricky does come back he should have 1 or 2 matches at 147 vs some easier opponents and then fight Amir Khan for a boat load of cash.

Ricky Hatton vs Nate Campbell at 147 in England doesn't look too bad to me...Junior Witter is still out there to fight, Ashley Theophane is out there, maybe Ricky Burns if Hatton can get to 140.

Then again, once you get the lights turned out on you and you have a style like Hatton's I don't think you can ever be "that guy" again.

You must mean kilos, cause no way is he hitting 140 lbs again. I'd watch Hatton fight again, but I doubt he'd make it back into good enough shape to fight. Then again, I never thought that I'd see Scott Harrison back in the ring, and we saw that last month.

He'll not do 140 again... Not a well conditioned 140, getting down would drain him.
At 140 he had his strength and relentlesness... At 147? He'll be fighting guys he can't just bully, his boxing ability won't make up the shortfall as it was neglected in place of conditioning/bullying a long time ago.

I honestly don't see what weight he can plan to seriously go back to.

he was not that good at 147. He lost to Collazo.

I do not believe it he has not said anything publicly and the last time he did he said he was never coming back.

After khans second defeat in a row were does that leave him now ? I would love to see him in a big fight with hatton this could be mega.Hatton could end khans career and get himself right back in the running for a title. If hatton serious about a come back he must of been watching last night saying khan could be a easy nights work for me.

The only division Hatton would be coming back to is heavyweight and I don't think either Klitschko is interested.

Khan would not be easy work for hatton. Hatton couldnt make light heavyweight let alone light welter.
