That's a misleading article.
The PPV numbers for Haye's fights were massive (even though the spectacle was disappointing). Sky were also showing Khan and certain Frank Warren fighters as PPV. Haye retired after the Klitschko fight and Warren set-up his own TV station. Khan was refused PPV so moved to another tiny channel (then came back to regular Sky Sports). Sky announced they were dropping PPV at the exact same time all the PPV fighters left the channel. Coincidence?
Haye is fighting tonight in front of 30/40,000 ticket buyers and is on a subsricption (PPV) channel.
Whether or not people like Haye - to paint him as a failure when it comes to generating HUGE amounts of money is ridiculous.
