Its probably when he thought or felt that he had no threat from his oponents power and fought stupid.

I actually think the Cotto that fought Floyd would beat Pac. Cotto was not only weight drained in the Pac fight...he still had not psychologically gotten over the first Margo fight.

I am a fan of Cotto but he is a one armed fighter and Manny beats him again.

I find it interesting how people are saying Floyd would totally beat Oscar easily on his prime when Floyd BARELY beat Oscar when he was past his prime. Imagine if it was during his prime.

Prime Oscar vs Pac. Hhhhmm I can imagine Oscar’s fast piercing jab snapping Manny’s head back throughout the fight.

Oscar was easily beaten by Floyd. I gave him 2-3 rounds maximum.

Did you really agree with the glue-sniffing judges and have this close? Really? Have you watched it with the sound off?

While I agree Pac is a more dynamic fighter...Cotto is technically a better fighter. Cotto seems to have made a full physical and psychological recovery from the Margo debacle. Pac is showing wear and doesn't seem fully motivated anymore. If these two fought NOW...and Roach didn't try to weight drain Cotto...i see Miguel winning.

Another factor that gets forgotten is the difference in Cotto's corner now, from the corner during the Pac fight. Cotto now has a legitimate trainer... someone who has made a difference with Cotto. For the Pac fight, Cotto had practically NO trainer.... at least not one who was worth a damn. Cotto won the first couple of rounds against Pac by employing his jab, and repeatedly snapping Pac's head back. He then lost the fight, by trading much too early with Pac, and getting caught by Pac's superior hand speed. Pedro Diaz would've had a MUCH better gameplan for Cotto to follow. Not to mention the fact that Diaz has worked on Cotto's late round conditioning, and has used some unorthodox training methods with Cotto that seem to have done wonders.

The "Floyd" Cotto certainly has an inmensely better chance against Pac a second time around.
