I enjoyed the beach volleyball. The venue is amazing. Also the hockey, gave Japan a shoeing, that was nice.

How about the 15 year old Lithuanian swimmer, amazing, just doing it for fun.

Anyone watching BBC1 now? Apparently the head an body are the target areas in boxing. Golden insight from Amir

I saw some earlier, southpaw v orthodox. Apparently some natural orthodox fighters are turned in to southpaws, richie woodhall doesn't approve, it makes them a one handed fighter and messes up their feet..like such famous converted southpaws Oscar and Barrera

Paddy Power even money GB win over 20.5 golds.
19 in Beijing and we shoud get a few more this time.
The over/under started at 22.5 and they seem to have dropped it purely based on one lost chance yesterday.

    Get on it.

OK, got a bit of volleyball on. Anyone know why Turkey have one player in a blue shirt when the rest are in red? China have the opposite, all blue with one red.

I only spotted Turkey's random player at first and thought it was pub football rules and they had borrowed one of the Chinese

Watching a bit of ladies weightlifting. Apparently a good snatch will get you into the medals.

does anyone here understand cycling ?

If so can you please explain to me why Cavendish is blaming the Aussies and other team's tactics for his loss ?

If there's a breakaway group then surely its up to you to keep up with them - no one else ?!?

yeah thats why I want an explanation - to me he is coming across as a whinger and blaming other people.

But maybe there's some truth in it if an expert can clarify

As far as I can make out, the faster you ride the better chance you have of winning. Its about peddling as hard as you can for as long as you can. Cavandish failed to do this and came no-where
