Didnt get much work done today watching the cycling. Really felt for the Spanish guy, was it a puncture and a chain off?

Wiggins was awesome although he seems to be capable of giving Steve Redgrave a run for his money in the miserable coont stakes. Also well done to Chris Froome on the bronze.

He also rang the bell in the opening ceremony. Wiggo has every right to be miserable, it can only go downhill from here.

Although two golds have been won today we are a bit below our par score for the day.
Wiggins and the rowing girls were nailed on.
Pooley had a good chance in women's TT but got nothing.
Men's 8 got bronze but had a decent (but difficult) chance for gold.

But see what happens in the swimming in the men's 200m breaststroke.

Not watched any of the olympics after I come home from work, will watch the athletics though.

Senegal losing to UAE and GB holding their own against youragay, might get through as group winners.
