Just a note on the scoring -
I went last Saturday, there are 5 judges and the lowest and highest score for each fighter is disregarded at the end of each round but you see all the judges scores before that happens. On every single round of every fight you had situations where 4 of the judges had it around 6-5, 7-6, 6-4 etc all for the same fighter and the fifth judge would go something like 8-1 for the other fighter. Totally bizarre.
So did i just said the samething in the other thread, but then again we've had 2 gift decision's. But i suppose two wrongs don't make a right, some very questionable scoring so far to say the least. I think they should go back the old scoring system.
Yeah the old system was awful. But this is double awful.
I actually think we have had two gifts for us and two against us now (Stalker and Savanah Marshall).
But people should also remember that in amateur boxing -
Effective aggression = not relevant
Ring generalship = not relevant
Workrate = not relevant
The power of punches = not relevant
The only thing that is relevant = landing punches with the knuckle part of the glove to the head or body with 'sufficient' force.

I think its easy, especially with this system, for fans to score the fight in the context of a professional fight.
