Not being biased but I thought that fight was very close! In fact many had tua winning! A classic though, absolute slugfest.

If I remember right I think one judge had it 117-111 for Ike! Now that's BS right there. Credit for the byrd win but that was just a case of byrd being over confident and getting a reality check. Byrd beat tua in a defensive masterclass, ike sacrificed his health to get that win! The dude is clearly insane and a pretty disgusting individual though so i feel no sense of 'what if's' or empathy for the man at all!

Personally i think people ascribe qualites to Ike that are just not proven by wins over Tua and Byrd, both of whom were terrific and accomplished, but also small and beatable heavies.

Ike Ibeabuchi is like what Andrew Golota would have been had he just stopped fighting right after the Riddick Bowe matches. Every Internet forum junkie would have been screaming, Lewis is lucky Golota wasn't around, he would have fucked him up. But since Lewis blew apart Golota that point died. Well that is the case with Ibeabuchi, his career ended on a high note and these idiots assume that means he would have ripped apart Lewis, hell some believe he could get out of jail today, fight the Klitschko's tomorrow and would be the new Heavyweight champion LOL.

OK so Ike was diagnosed as Bipolar and that's fine and everything because numerous boxers have been diagnosed as bipolar and been ok after getting help and recieving medication. I think he was a little worse than bipolar, with paranoid dellusions like he had he may be szchizophrenic.

The key to this is ws Ike crazy before the Tua fight or was all this caused by head trauma? That's a scary thought right there.

Also wasn't he in a horrible car wreck that gravely injured his son?

Head injuries can cause a lot of problems and issues. I have read stories of ordinary people totally changing personalities and behaviour. However it is not that common in boxing as you would expect. So do not know what I am trying to say. Please ignore this.

Well, what I am trying to say is that it could be boxing related but I doubt it and is just an excuse his fancy lawyer or probation officer would use to get him out of jail.

Paranoid Schizo is what Ike was. Bi Polar is basically manic depression, and there are no voices in one's head.

Speaking of head trauma changing someone's disposition, they say Gary Busey changed dramatically after his motorcycle accident in which he wasn't wearing a helmet.

Yes personalities change I know someone who became a sex addict from a blow to the head and his wife had to divorce him. Brain trauma can cause a lot of problems and the person just cannot do anything about the it.

Depends on the part of the brain that gets damaged. The part of the brain that controls erm drives is as you'll imagine very old/primative and linked to other drives like food.

Don't tell me this or I'll have to hit the missus around the head with a shovel.
