The problem is in the way your are throwing your jab. If you are just using the arm, then your shoulder will get tired, the glove will get heavy and you'll drop your hand. If you start the punch with a slight turn of your shoulders, let the turn of the shoulders drive the arm, you won't get tired, your jab will return properly, and you'll be in position to throw a right behind it.

I tore my shoulder ligaments a few years ago and my muscles are clearly not the same since. Not only do I have limited rotation, but it aches easier.
I was told it just takes time to strengthen so just make sure to do more jab work to build it up. So when working out I try and do twice as many jabs as right hands.

Really nice stuff scrap. Just to say this stretches not only will make your left hand tiring less, but will inprouve the jab immensely and the defence against right hands will follow.

I would add: when you start your heavy bag workout, Go for 100 strikes per round of jabs. (practice only jabs). Do this for 3 rounds, concentrating on good form.
I am not doubting your expertise, just wondering: this stick stretching always was scary for me. I do not like the sound the joint makes when you pass from the front to the back. I mean by bringing the stick, that you keep with to hand from the front body plane to the back plane. For how long you have been doing such an exercise?

Are you tensing your arm before you punch, you should only contract your fist when you punch makes contact, I know that helped me.
Punches, should be thrown relaxed, it allows you more speed and makes you hit with more power.
Try tensing you muscles as you throw punches, then try relaxing your muscles and throwing combinations, notice a difference.
Keep them relaxed.
You will develop strength and endurance the more you practice, soon you will not notice your lead arm getting tired.
If it is a new activity it will take time for your body to adapt.
You should not be dropping your arm at any point during a bout or sparring, concentrate on your defense and conditioning.
Remember to include rest days in your training as it will allow faster recovery and give bigger improvements in your boxing skills and fitness.

I always knead out my shoulders at night. start with a tennis ball, to cricket ball, to golf ball for severe knots. But once the lactic acid thresholds are up it shouldn't be an issue if the technique is good.
