I dislike agreeing with Haye but he could be right. Vitali looked stiff as a board, his reaction time was off and he looked to be huffing and puffing. This could all be due to inactivity, anyway I hope he retires as planned, that way Haye never gets a chance at him. I just don't like Haye, can't help it! I was thinking, during the Charr fight that Floyd Patterson, with his leaping left hook might have had a chance. Floyd's size would have kept him from any chance today, though. It's a shame Charr doesn't have one like Patterson, of course Steward probably knows five ways to counter it.

I am glad it was not just me, but Vitali looked like a statue, he threw arm punches and got the cut. Charr was awful, his tactic was crap and he should have done more.

Why did he bother fighting charr?
Charr was undefeated, a natural heavyweight, and apparently easy to make a deal with....meanwhile Haye just has a big mouth.
    He was undefeated? So what?

Well now he's not. Look, Vitali is running for office again and wanted another fight so a deal had to get done quickly who DON'T you call when you want to fight and fight soon?

The survey says DAVID 'The Excuse-maker' HAYE

Haye is no more of a nobody than Charr though, right? So you can see how a future fight with him makes as much sense and more money than the charr fight did?

Vitali needs to hang em up. He's always been rotbotic looking but wasn't ever really robotic he would lean in and out to avoid punches didn't do that at all very stiff and imobile in this fight. You can tell he's getting old. I hate to say it cause I dislike haye for all the trashtalking he does but I'm not sure vitali could land enough these days on haye, its a fifty fifty fight now, three years ago and haye doesn't see the 6th.

Haye is a nobody in my eyes because I view him as he should be viewed....as a cruiserweight who has wins over hand picked opponents and didn't even bother to TRY and beat Wladimir.

A few years ago Haye wouldn't even get in the ring with Vitali much less last a round

    Please help me out here.

    Wlad beat Haye
    Vitali beat Chisora
    Haye beat Chisora

How does that equate to Haye earning a shot against Vitali? For god sake I'm no that old but I actually remember that you had to earn the right to fight the champ.

Which shows you how much Vitali has slowed down that even Haye thinks he has a genuine chance to beat him> still think Vitali will be fully motivated to smash Haye round the ring should he fight but you must acknowledge Vitali does look very static.

I was thinking what Tyson would have done to this Vitali that fought Charr. Tyson would have brutalised him.

I concur, both at their best(I mean a fantasy match up) in my opinion vitali walks through him like he did v herbie hide but now vitali is certainly older and his style of fighting is not a style that benefits an older man, so he could have trouble now, even the toughest chins can be broken..

one thing i would say is, when people say vitali is huffing and puffing and just throwing arm punches, that is all i have heard throughout his career pretty much, so really I think he has always looks tired and awkward but he does seem to be dodging with his head a bit slower :S I hope he retires

Aren't ppl tired of hearing the thoughts of david haye?? Seriously who care's what he thinks! This dude had his opportunity and humiliated himself! He's an opportunist, he has had numerous opportunities over recent years to sign for a vitali fight yet he ducked and dodged and whined! Now he see's vitali is slowing a little he's in there like a shot! Conman! The klitschko's should not entertain this idiot ever again! 3 years ago haye would flinch in the presence of vitali....
