He achieved more than Casamayor ever did and more than JCC Jnr ever will ;-)
He achieved more than Casamayor at the buffet table. But not in the ring.
    Hatton:

    IBF LWelt champion (beating Tszyu)
IBF LWelt Champion (beating Urango after being stripped after fighting Collazo at WW)
    WBA LWelt Champion
    WBA WW champion

    Best win Tszyu

    Casamayor:

    WBA SF champion
    WBC LW champion

    Best Win Corrales
That's 2 wins over prime Corrales. Not to mention taking the 0's of prime Nate Campbell and prime Michael Katsidis. Don't make a fool of yourself and try and tell me Kostya Tyzyu was anywhere close to his prime when Hatton (and Paris) beat him. Cuz he was not

Yes, you are right, he looked terrible against Sharmba Mitchell 7 months earlier. And clearly at 35, with 33 fights (not exactly wars) he was a shadow! I wonder what happend in those 7 months between what critics called his best performnace (against the bookies favourite, who was unbeaten in 10 years, apart from an injury stoppage against Tszyu in their first fight) and the Hatton fight that made him deteriorate so much?

P.S How could Corrales be 'prime in a.) in 2003 after he had already been destroyed by Mayweather and B.) (what were you saying about 'making a fool of yourself' ) in 2006 ( 3 years after his 1st 'Prime'), after the 2 Castillo fights and his 2nd from last fight after 10 years as a pro (and Casamayor only beat that jaded, worn out Corrales by SD) Phffffffffff.
Mitchell was always overrated. He was good. But lets not try and make him great. Cuz he wasn't. And lets not twist facts. Tszyu went into the Hatton fight having fought only 3 rounds in 3 years and coming off shoulder surgery. He had 33 pro fights and damn near 300 amatuer fights. And it still took the help of a bias as ref for Hatton to win

And yes you are correct. Corrales acomplished nothing after getting destroyed by Mayweather. Besides beating Acelino Freitas and Jose Luis Castillo that is.

OK so as I said in the very first post 'Best win = Corrales' you then came back with '2 wins over prime Corrales' Well that's not true is it because he wasn't 'prime' at the time of the 2nd win in 2006

Hatton achieved more. That's not a subjective opinion it's a fact
