I don't know if he is or not, but ruthless acts like a high school kid who's looking for 'negative' attention. Perhaps his daddy didn't give him enough love, and his mommy dropped him on his head too many times when he was a baby. In any event, I just keep him on ig most of the time, problem solved.
cheers dude
I was rooting for Chavez and, like I said before the fight, I don’t blind myself from the shady things he has come up with in past fights and hoped this fight was played by the rules and it was. Martinez did a good job keeping Chavez on the distance and getting away from the ropes and corner where Chavez seems to be effective with the body punches and where Martinez was caught on the last round and almost had the fight stopped. He was smart to survive instead of exchanging punches just to look macho. I take my hat off to Martinez. Will just accept the defeat as it sucks to see your guy lose.
@Chino,
In this case Martinez was just the better fighter, there's no shame in getting beat by someone who has superior skills.
Junior is an example of someone who went a long way with average boxing talent, I mean does he even know how to throw a jab? On top of that, with all the added weight he carries into the ring on fight night, he's slow and predictable. A world class pug like Martinez will pick him apart every time, and if there's a re-match it will end the same way, minus the KD by Junior, plus a KO by Sergio.
That’s right Marx_ax. It’s not like Jr. is finished. He’s a young lad who has to go back to the drawing board and make changes where necessary. Starting with being more disciplined with his training. I thought he would use his jab more considering he was taller than Martinez.
