Unless there is some sort of evidence then we will never know but there does seem to be a lot of girls coming forward claiming he abused them. My guess is he's guilty, I read yesterday in an interview he's quoted saying Gary Glitter did nothing wrong as his pictures of kids were for private use and he wasn't selling them or publishing them so that made it ok. If you know kiddy fiddling is wrong you don't say those things.

Accusations went unfounded in the 70's, but with his money things can go away. I can honestly say if I knew someone who was rich was abusing kids no amount of money would get me to keep my mouth shut. I'm sure other peados were involved.

He was a colorful eccentric who, no matter what, did give a huge part of his life for charity. Was he a perv? To be honest, I have no clue; I haven't talked to people who knew him, never met the man in person. Why is it strange? Any idea what sexual abuse does to someone. Most feel guilt and shame over it as if it was there fault and they should have been able to stop it.
