    It makes it less competitive, the best fighter avoid each other bc they are in their own mini-division.

    Weren't they going to start a super heavyweight division a year or two back? All this will do apart from give them more belts to get sanctioning fees off is devalue the heavyweight division even more, if that's possible.

    I think it goes a long way in bridging the gap with the lower divisions. Over the past 20 years there could have been some fantastic fights between one time 168-175ers and reduced 210ers.
    Ward vs Chambers for example.

    Hopkins v Etienne??

    Eubank vs Hyde even....

    It just gives the lovwerweight boxer more incentive to move from say 175er to fight a 190er knowing that guy has mixed in frequent company of 220ers and so on and so forth.....

    That just doesn't happen any more.
