Well the east is very protected very quiet and scenic grass running down the waters edge nice beaches, west is wild mostly rocky outcrops much deeper water closer in and very sharky, snakes everywhere too. Great place.

What kind of snakes?

Mostly Tigers mate the Tasmanian ones can be black and 6feet where as the mainlanders we have around here are brown to grey with yellowish stripes underneath them, usually 3 to 5 feet .We got tons around here but no black Tigers. King Island has both I think. But theres an island off the north west coast of King island about 1 or 2 k's away and it literally crawls with them. That is where some milking gets done for venom.
