Naz lost something when he left ingle, although he did technically improve under different trainers. He wasnt the same fighter maybe fought he was better than he was only hamed knows.

He did beat alot of good champions just no major stand out names that you can class as elite imo.

Naz was good for british boxing bringing alot of fans to the sport, and was mostly in exciting fights.

Can believe 9/11 was only five months after that fight. It doesnt seem as though it happened that long ago.
I am pretty sure after 9/11 naz was relunctant to say alot of that stuff before a fight again.
Shame, If naz had gave barrera a rematch and beaten him he could have happily retired and went down as a true great. (Not saying that he isnt one but he should have rematched barrera).

except at the time I thought he might get DQ

and the trip throw earlier, you can see in the replay Barrera throws his leg behind naz

I'm sure there are better vids but it's a case you start it I'll finish it.

And at 2.10 I forgot about that. See people go on about Barrera being a dirty fighter but the fact is nas started the wrestling shit & nas hit on the break so barrera hit him back.

I was a huge Naz fan but I don't think he was beating MAB maybe 2/3 times out of 10.
his fans were booing because he was shit against a shit fighter and when his corner tried to pep him up for the fans between rounds 'fuck the fans' was his response

The reason Hamed lost to Barrera was cuz Barrera was the better fighter. It's that simple. And it was always the case. They could of rematched 10 times. And Hamed would of lost 10 times. Barrera went into the Hamed fight having already been in 55 fights. It wasn't even a prime Barrera that beat Hamed's ass. A prime Barrera finishes Hamed inside 5

I was delighted when Naz got a ass whipping from Barrera. His ego was out of control
and he was the most obnoxious little shit,He became lazy and relied upon his power
more and more.Naz was well beaten by Barrera and his best win was Kelley, hardly
    HOF credentials.

He beat and stopped Vasquez (who had beaten Canizales), he stopped Medina, he stopped Tom Johnson, KOed Billy Hardy in a round, stopped Ingle (who beat Junior Jones), Naz had crazy power.

If anyone saw the post fight interview with steward after barreras warm up fight for hamed will note that he said 'I think we chose the wrong fighter' (based on the prior slug-fest with morales and barreras new boxing style)...writing on the wall

That's true but he was getting things thrown at him while making his entrance to the ring.
a spontaneous creation with multiple moods.
