Brock, you should not smoke it is bad for you.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Prob wont smoke another for several months. throat was ırrıtated next 2 days.
Brockton, you look like a proper guido with that heater. I enjoy several different cigars, my favorites these days are the Perdomo Habanitos...just a long enough smoke for me. I only have one every other month or so.
I think Calzaghe vs Jones would have been fun if Jones was in his prime. Be interesting to see how a prime Jones deal with Calzaghes output and work rate. Be interesting to see how a Prime Calzaghe deals with Roy's speed.
I'm quite serious when I say I believe Calzaghe is kryptonite to Jones Jr. His style is all wrong. Fast, high output, good chin, and won't stop. Jones Jr likes to observe and move and Calzaghe wouldn't let him breathe. Jones Jr said as much himself, Calzaghe would ALWAYS have been a difficult fight for him.
It's no coincidence that jones avoided every slick southpaw of his generation...Liles, Nunn and JC! Why? Look what happened when he fought southpaw tarver! I also maintain that fighting the likes of Mclellan, Michalkewski and Eubank would have shaved years off of jones prime too! The Johnson fight is evidence of that! Jones would have been beaten sooner had he stepped up more consistantly!
Great fghter but not the superhuman ppl made him out to be...Too untested IMO. The praise in some way's is unjustified! Some of the replies so far in this thread just re-iterate what my O.P suggested.
Jones beat Hopkins and Toney who are both better fighters than anyone mentioned in the OP.

jones would smoke patterson ın about 4 rounds. quıck left hook ınsıde. lıghts out.
A prime tyson vs a prime ali.?
Im sure tyson would smoke a prime frazier and etc. I wouldnt count a prime tyson out over anyone as much i like ali he gotta dance his toes off for three rounds.
The first 3-4 rounds would be very risky for ali. Thats why i was not totally convinced it would be a walk in the park for ali.
James Toney was a great fighter from 160 to cruiserweight and he even showed some promise at heavyweight. The point is RJJ toyed with him in his prime, and that's not an easy thing to do.
Foreman would rape Tyson and I'm not so certain Liston wouldn't beat him either. Floyd Patterson had the Tyson style and Ali had what trouble with him![]()
Ali had a hell of a chin and his legs would be the death of Tyson. Ali would have Tyson chase him and then tie Tyson up and all that would wear Iron Mike down and after 4 rounds of that Mike would be looking for a way out.
Bullshit! What did toney do at SMW? Beat Henry Maske victim Iran Barkley (who was fluctuating between 160-175lbs at that point!) and lost to Jones jr! Plus he was having serious weight shredding issues for the jones fight!
He then moved up to a more comfortable weight (LHW) and lost to Thadzi and griffin too! I would pick a shit load of the names mentioned in the O.P over toney! Toney was a great fighter but he was beateable...After the Jones fight Toney didn't pick up a serious win until Jirov in 03 @ CW! (Probably roided to fuck!) Toney wasn't really much better than tiny Montel Griffin mate....Sorry.
As for the Bhop win...Hopkin's was not the fighter he would go onto become vs jones! He was struggling with the likes of Segunda Mercado at that point (Got dropped twice and fought to a draw!) Mercado was tooled by Liles...So stop suggesting they are better than all the names mentioned because they were not! (Certainly at the point anyway!) Hopkins was rated around #8 in the world rankings when jones beat him....
