This can never make a mockery of boxing. I hate cricket but im definately interested to see how he will handle this major transition.

A millionaire celebrity decides to take a chance at boxing, takes a lot of interest and limelight away from professional boxing only to see it blow up in his face in 6months-1 years time.

The casual fan will leave disappointed and feeling mislead.
In the mean time a lot of hype will be needlessly be expended seeking profit but in no way benefiting boxing.

This distraction/career will refocus money/interest which would otherwise would of helped young fledgling boxers, generate quick profits and in no way benefits boxing.
