Master is spot on here with his assertion that the competition level in this era in this division is one of the weakest in its history and imo just behind Marcianos. Now if Wlads legions cant even grapple with that fact then so ends the debate if one can call it that.

Having said that, its not Wlads fault anymore then it was Hopkins in dominating one of the weakest mid divisions in history but these things will be taken into perspective by both fans and historians whether his stalwart fans like it or not.

i actually fully believe with everyone at their best both klitschkos beat tyson... tyson was too mad and wild to beat wlad... well wlad would need a ref that wasnt on tysons side but i dont see how he would lose to tyson... tyson comes at him wlad leans on him gets the left hand going... slows tyson down and stops him late... wladimir at his best can take a punch and is too smart to fold after one punch in my opinion if he gets hit with a biggish shot he just ties up the smaller tyson leans on him tires him out and eventually starts landing and once he gets the left hook and right straight going tyson is finished....... as for tyson v vitali... tyson should just be happy he never had to go into that fight... in my opinion vitali wins with ease... he just has to much physically and mentally for crazy small tyson

Tyson had an iron chin and was very difficult to hit, not a stationary punching bag like the bums Wlad fights. Remember how they were telling Wach to move his head when he fought Wlad? Well head movement and the ability to evade punches was Mikes specialty, he himslef said that his defense is why he was impossible to beat. He would plow into Wlads body and throw lethal combos into the body and head. Its clear you have minimal knowledge of the sport if you think Tyson is easy for anyone to beat. Even the Tyson that fought Lewis would shatter Wlads joke of a chin. Prime Tyson was famous for his combinations ... He could throw a 4 punch combo in under a second with each punch having devastating KO power ... He was no one punch fighter back then

If a retired golfers hand speed dumbfounded Wlad then imagine what Mike would do. Tyson was out jabbing tall boxers with long reaches in his prime ... He could probably do the same to either Klit ... Wlad has shown stamina problems before and lost because of it ... He was winning the Brewster fight and lost becuase he couldnt handle Brewsters pressure and aggression and punches himself out trying to keep him away .... And that was with Steward in his corner ... He has shown weakness against powerful punchers, guys with fast hands and speed in general, and guys who have been able to pressure him .... And Mike Tyson was the living emodiment of a fast, powerful, pressure fighter.

The truth is that netheir klit has the inside or mid range fighting ability to beat Mike ... Both hold like octipii as soon as anyone moves in range .. And Tyson would navigate his way around and underneath their jabs and straight hands into firing range and then unload deadly combos ... Even the guys that held against Mike had to take serious punishment, like Mitch Green who held and tried to just survive with Mike (simply surviving with Tyson was seen as a victory back then) lost some teeth.

In complete agreement as far as Wlad is concerned. But I think you're making a mistake by lumping Vitali together with Wlad, and by doing so are ignoring two critical factors: chin and fear. Wlad's chin is universally known to be weak. Vitali's chin is a hell of a lot better. Think of his fight with Lewis, not a bad puncher himself. Vitali gave as good as he got, and it's anybody's guess how the fight would've developed had Vitali not suffered that ugly gash over the eye. Fear is the other factor. Whereas Wlad fights with a fear of getting tagged, Vitali is completely different. Wlad's fights have been so ugly because he's terrified of getting that chin tapped. Think of the Sultan fight, one of the ugliest HW fights on record (until the Haye fight, that is). Mindful of Sultan's supposed one-punch power, Wlad stayed away all night, turning the fight into a boring "paw-fest" whose recording should be burned, never to be seen again.

I'm not saying Vitali beats a prime Tyson. I'm just saying he'd have a hell of a better chance. He's big and heavy. He doesn't prance around like Wlad. Robotic or not, Vitali would've used his big body to try and wear down Tyson. Tyson would hit Vitali with some shots, but would have to take some in return. That in itself would slow Tyson down just a bit in the later rounds.
