What's the difference cos it's not the weight.

It is the weight mate, the heavier the weight, the longer your career can be.
Its not just that. Hatton had a big strength advantage when he was a light welter, he could boil himself right down and rehydrate massively after. Even at light welter though, there we fighters who could match his strength and made him look mediocre, like Juan Urango. If his footwork and boxing were that great, he would have been ale to box rings round him and make it look easy, he struggled.

He fights now the same as he did years ago. Ok he tired in the last few rounds but his head movement was good, as good as it has ever been. Or it looked that way against this opponent.

Had he taken on a fighter a level below as he should have and as everyone thought he should have, he would have won. You can get the stamina and confidence in training. He started to tire and was more and more a sitting target, he looked better than I expected at the beggining of the fight and even hurt Senchenko a few times.

Froch practically walks around at fighting weight and has a far better chin. Even Hattons own brother takes a better shot. Would Hatton have lasted against Canelo?
Uhm if I remember right he did box rings around urango other than one scarry moment in round five

Yeah he was boxing nicely. I think Urango almost snapping him in half with a body shot changed things.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
