those KD's were legit
great job ref
at least the right man still got the W
In round 3-4 here on repeat. Shades of Guerrero vs Berto a bit...out muscled and out hustled, Guzman looks desperate.
He continued after leg was 'injured'. No Dr. checking, no break, point deduct, nata. He went down again after he took barrage(s) and pretty much opted out. That is a tko.
whole promotion was stacked in alot of ways for Guzman. Allakhverdiev dictated and earned it.
He sure did. Guzmans shots had little effect on the Hawk and it appeared to me that the ref was looking to deduct a point with some of those fake warnings. It looked like to me with all the flopping that Guzman was looking for a way out. I think he was on his way to being stopped prior to its ending and Juan was looking to luck out with the cards.
This fight should have been on ESPN. Why was it not?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Full fight here:
Agreed. Other than the 1st round he looked like he was just bouncing snowballs off of a truck and I have zero clue how ref "missed" initial non-knockdown. As clean as they come. Guzman did well to find his back foot and adjust midway but from there he looked like he was just punching for preservation only. I honestly cannot see a rematch going differently.
That's freaking outrageous that it wasn't a knockout.
He beat the crap out of Guzman, and Guzman fell to the ground and quit. Just because he claims that his leg hurts, he some how avoids a knockout? WTF?
