Yeah, but you're a hardcore fan just like me and you will be watching #IV.
I'll definitely be watching. I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping Manny is back to the level he was at a couple of years ago and that Marquez is still fast enough to compete after his recent, uh, gain in musculature. I'm definitely interested to see how new pro-wrestler Marquez does.

I have a feeling that we're going to see a fight that confirms Manny is on the slide and Marquez has his number. And then Manny gets the decision.

Could be, but if anyone gets a gift decision it would likely be Marquez. I figure Manny will need to totally dominate or stop JMM to get the "W" this time.

That is a very good point. And after Bradley anything is possible. Byrd is one of the judges. There has to be some kind of effect on the judges from the last 3. Must rational humans believe he won at least one of those. Bayless is ok as a ref but can be a little Cortez like with the camera.

If the 3 judges found a way to give Bradley 7 rounds in his fight against Pacquiao, they should easily find a way to give JMM at least that many against Pac. If Pac vs JMM IV is remotely close, Marquez will win this time.
Here's hoping there's a clearly dominant winner Saturday, the "controversy" is getting a little old.

Lets hope that travesty of justice does not repeat itself. It would be a hollow win for this Marquez fan.

In that posted interview in another thread Marquez looks like a man possessed and Manny looks like Justin Bieber.

Same on the last sentence and ftr I think it will. I think the Marquez obsession pays off in this fight and actually think a chance exists that he stops Manny in some way be it a towel. I think Marquez is going to bring it this time. That is as much as a consummate counter puncher can. Its how Pep beat Saddler.

If Manny spends the whole fight going forward and Marquez spends the whole fight counterpunching and it's a close fight then Manny gets the decision. Marquez will have to do something different to win.

I have a very strong feeling that this fight is going to end in a tko, and I think that Marquez will stop him.

Hes had 2 chances to do something different and failed each time. I think all he is capable of is timing Pac and countering but nothing more. He cant do anything else so he leaves it in the judges hands. If he tried to go for it more, thats when he walks onto shots and gets floored.

Pac on the other hand is capable of something different but he has been in decline for afew fights in a row now and the last fight is evidence that he cant fight at pace like he use to.

He is still more dangerous that Marquez in exchanges though so he has to have a more explosive attitude this time round. He cant stand off and try to box like he did in the 3rd fight. That was the most lopsided fight in Marquez' favour IMO so Pac has to do what made him famous and let his hands go, fight at pace and be relentless. At almost 40 Marquez is the one who should struggle more in that type of fight

I think Pac's gonna lose this one. I always said here that if Pac goes on charging in, he can knock Juan out anytime and I still do. But look what my bwoy has done instead. After every fight, he goes more on a defensive and retreat mode, avoiding exchange and staying safe. Look at the last fight, he hardly had any mark on his face, unlike the first, and to a lesser extent, the second. He knocked Juan thrice in the 1st fight, once in the 2nd, none in the 3rd. Im pretty sure this trend will continue and he'd be a loser this time. Tsk, tsk... Hey, pass the hankies...

Unfortunately, I have this same sentiment. I believe that Pac is on a decline both physically and mentally. He does not have the same determination as before. If his last previous fights are any indication, then this may well be the fight that will result to his retirement. I hope it isn't so but would not be surprised if it is.

Xactly, but what do you think about the unusual confindence Pac has been showing for this fight? I think it's a case of overconfidence, but hope I'm wrong though... Just hope he'll be coming forward strong this time (of course without getting knocked in the process); definitely I'm not counting on it though...

    I've backed Marquez on points @ 11/4.
    And Over 10.5 rounds.

And as a saver Pacquiao in 7, 8 and 9. Basically I can't lose unless Pac stops him in 6 or sooner.

And Marquez for the straight win at 15/8.

Im hoping the judges do a great job tonight as they have big pressure in this fight.

As always im covering the big fights on my fightscorecollector site (in the signature below). Personally im expecting to beat the record amount of scores i have collected for a fight in this one. the most was 265 for the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight.

I think Marquez will get the decision but Pacquaio will be robbed. I just see teh judges giving most close rounds to Marquez because of the HISTORY between the 2 fighters.

The fight though will be just as close as the other 3. I cant see how it can be any other way unless Marquez gets old overnight.

Looking forward to it , ENJOY
