do you think floyd is going to disavantage himself in weight against sergio or canelo?

He wont do a catchweight so i just cant see him fighting at 154 anymore.

Its got to be either guerrera or bradley..or possibly a marquez 2?

    Floyds a small welterweight.

I think Floyd is a full welterweight and will beat them all but not a light middle or middleweight so has a tougher challenge. No way does Floyd move to middleweight.

I think it would come down to Marquez v Pac V or Maweather vs Martinez although if it was m own personal list of fights I want to see there would be plenty more.

Those 4 fighters have to be the most established names in the sport right now, the have all been at the top fo a long time and have beaten all the top guys time after time.

I think Mayweather v Martinez would be absolutely massive what with the size difference and being the middleweight division it would be a mega event. Skillwise and boxing brain I would go for Maweather, Martinez would have the size and strength advantage but that's the onl areas I would give him an edge. That might be all he needs though. Maweather by wide UD.

People will want to see Pac vs Marquez for obvious reasons.

Floyd is a full-fledged, strong welterweight. He's fought at 154 twice and didn't look out of shape doing it. He hasn't fought below 147 since 2005. Also, don't forget when he agreed to a fight with JMM at 144, he couldn't make weight, and came into the fight at 146.

Canelo is a small junior middleweight, although I imagine he'll grow into his body more as he ages a little bit (he's only 22).

Martinez is a small middleweight now, who has stated on the record that he could get down to 154 without too much of an issue if the fight was right.

If Floyd wanted to go out like a boss, he would beat the best at 154 in Trout now, and then Canelo once Canelo beats a ranked opponent, and follow those with a jump up to 160 to beat Martinez.

Floyd's legs have gone so Canelo is a hell of a tough fight for him but I do think he'll do it at some point.

If Floyd does go up to middleweight he would be one of the greatest fighters ever.

If he can beat Martinez he would probably be GOAT for me, although fighting so infrequently has to count against him.

    Floyds a small welterweight.
Martinez is not a big middle even though I believe he's been over 170 on some fight nights and I don't think Floyd is a small welter but a natural one. That is to say he's awfully close to his walk around weight on fight night. Martinez probably walks around at a buck 85. Floyd is not obligated to pack it on against Martinez or Canelo. It is they that would have to shed and Floyd could just weigh in at his best fighting weight. I actually believe that for Floyd against either one his smaller size is his advantage.

My money is on Guerrero also and Floyd has stated publicly that his next fight is 147. Marquez will probably take 8 moths off and I don't think Arum sacrifices Timmy.

I think if Floyd was going to the jump it would be against Martinez and the more prestigious 160 title.
Alvarez and Martinez are essentially the same size as Alvarez is a pretty massive jr mid. I agree though that the chances are probably slim to none that he fights either in the future but the old school in me is dieing to see him take a crack at the mid title.

In terms of numbers and excitement, Mayweather vs Canelo would be the biggest I believe.

In terms of how many butts it will seat on the chairs I would agree cinnamon boy vs floyd would be the best. What irks me is that Canelo is way to inexperienced for floyd and through no fault of his own (recently anyways) he's yet to fight a good opponent and now it is expected to see him to fight THE opponent? Eh it will be a fun fight to watch I'll admit. Kind of like Victor Ortiz vs Mayweather.
