I'll be interested in seeing what Guerrero's game plan will be. With some technical boxers, the key to victory lies on getting inside, but Mayweather is just as dangerous there. No chance in hell of outboxing Floyd from range ... he sure is a tough nut to crack.

I do like Guerrero's grit though - that fight with Berto was nasty, yet beautiful at the same time.

I wouldn't say no chance. I think there's better chance of winning a fight by boxing Floyd and not rough houseing him. He is so use to that tactic and so perfect at defending against it. Like cotto for example the rounds he won in the middle of the fight were boxing and if floyd went to the ropes trap him and throw combos. But for guerreros sake I don't think he has what it takes to box him so just go balls out I'd say.

Victor Ortiz is 5'9 and weighed in at 165 fight night and got slaughtered. what makes Sergio not worth it @150 which he is willing to do? Robert should fight Devon Alexander he's not proven yet Berto is nothing more and a fast hard puncher. Anyone disagree?

Sergio is willing to go to 150? Wow at his age that might be a huge mistake to cut that much weight. He hasn't been there in 8 or 9 years.

Risk-reward factor. Why take a challenging awkward stylist when you can take and average Guerrero who isn't better in any department? Would you do a harder job for the same money?

Yup. It's not an exciting fight. Guerrero won't win. The odds will be way in PBF's favor. It actually doesn't make any sense. Why not fight Trout, after he just beat Cotto? Even though I think Cotto was better suited to welterweight than junior middleweight, beating Cotto at MSG is more impressive than beating Berto. Not to mention, Trout looks like a tougher fight. Hopefully, there won't be too much interest in this fight and I can get tickets on the cheap.

Mayweather-Trout would be a truly terrible fight. I don't think the styles would mesh and as a result I don't think it'd sell that well. At least Guerrero would opt to press the fight and try and mall Floyd.

From what I've read, he's taking on Guerrero on Cinco De Mayo as he will bring a decent Mexican fan base. Canelo will be on the undercard, likely against Cotto, and the plan is to set up Mayweather-Canelo in Septmeber on a Mexican holiday weekend. So from a selling point of view, it makes perfect sense.
