People are not gonna give Rigo his just due because he's a world champion so early. But do people really want to not see Rigo vs Donaire? When I was growing up I thought it was about unifying titles. Rigo was wobbled thats a part of boxing. Everyone says he hasnt fought anyone. He wont really get the credit til top dogs accept and these promoters make it happen. its a high risk fight and I think boxers and promoters are scared. There is no way arce got a shot and Rigo cant. Rigo has a decent buzz now but promoters and fighters know its a high risk and low reward. With that being said. Mares/donaire will move up in weight before they fight Rigo.

Your point is that it makes no sense to fight Rigo? I somewhat agree. It only makes sense from a legacy perspective. It's not like fans are flocking to see Donaire versus Rigo, at least not in the same way that they would be excited about Donaire vs. Mares.

Yea I agree with you cause id like to see abner vs donaire first. And id like to see mares vs rigo. Im a big fight fan so everything I say might not make sense but I do feel like all three boxers need to get it on. Boxing match matching fucking sucks lol

By the way, I read earlier today that there is a provision in Rigo's contract extension requiring a Donaire fight within his next three fights, which means I bet we see Rigo-Donaire very soon.

Well that would be nice to see. Test Rigo and see what he's really made of. Donaire should fight Mares first then Rigo. Mares has been working hard and i can only see it being fair if he fought Donaire.

Rigo was a great aumuter, but as a pro still got a lot to learn he may well be a Champion but I feel
it's to soon to face Donaire. We must remember there are some, good contenders out there for Rigo
let him face 2 or 3 of them if he can beat them!, Donaire I feel would ko him in about 6 rounds at
this point in Rigo's career, if Donaire hit's him he will stay down fact.

Dont know if Rigo can take that old style power, Donaire fights off the ropes and fights in tight like an old school fighter not sure if Rigo (who Ive only just started watching ) can evade and counter without getting tagged and dropped. Id have liked to see Rigo have a tough battle under his belt before this one. Im still going to buy it if it comes around and go for the underdog.

I think this is such a tough one to call. Rigo is one of the most skilled boxers ever. Donaire is a top 5 p4p at the moment. I have to make Donaire fav. He has fought the better opponents and has more experience as a pro. Rigo has been a mix bag since going pro looking brilliant for a few rounds and not so good other times. In saying that he fought Cordoba in his 7th pro fight and Ramos in his 9th. Unheard of a fighter to be fighting this level after so few fights, so much respect for him. I'd make Donaire 4/9, Rigo 7/4 and the Draw 20/1.

I think that's what he said
