Agreed Gatti had no chance and got shit kicked but wouldn't stop...until he finally did get stopped.

Roy Jones Jr. vs Richard Hall was pretty brutal. Roy hit him with EVERY punch imaginable...I couldn't believe the look on Hall's face when it was finally stopped. He wanted to continue even tho Roy probably hadn't missed a punch all night!

Holmes vs Ali was the worst though ... at least the others could fight back, Ali hardly even fought back and was just being pounded in the corner.

People were actually pretty pissed at Holmes after that ... I remember he even once recalled a woman tell him that she hated him because he "beat Ali."

Either because someone is getting beaten up too badly, or the fight is a total mismatch. I think the most I've ever been disturbed by a fight was Vitali Klitschko vs Shannon Briggs. Shannon immediately had no chance and his corner would not pull him out. I was disturbed how Vitali kept on wailing on him even in the later rounds, as was his right but I remember wishing him to just carry Shannon until the end.

The referee was irresponsible and should have stopped the Briggs-Klitschko fight by the 9th round.

Another one like that was the Vitali-Adamek fight. Adamek was too brave to quit, and for round after round he took a one-sided beating. Thankfully the referee in that one was more responsible and eventually did stop it.

Briggs vs Klitschko was disgraceful ... Vitali kept going for the KO of the defenseless Briggs ... and the Klitschko's are called "gentlemanly" by their delusional fans. Vitali has had a history of poor sportsmanship ... Corrie Sanders (RIP) pointed this out too

Emmanuel Augustus vs Ray Olivera on ESPN FNF a few years back comes to mind. Not 100% sure if memory is correct but I recall Augustus all but refusing to hit Olivera in the head after a certain point. Hard to watch but at the same time a great display of class by Augustus.....I became a true fan of his that night

Derek Chrisora vs. Danny Williams was very sad. Williams should never have been allowed to get in the ring and he shouldn't have a licence now either.

I agree with Gatti-Mayweather. That was a bad beating.

I might've pulled Pavlik out alot earlier against Hopkins.

I also feel quite sad when I see Riddick Bowe on a Klitschko undercard fighting a 4 rounder. He looks like a bear that has been taken away from his family and chained in a circus cage only to be pulled out and have to perform for people.
