They are great animals. They are not inherently vicious but can be made so just like any other dog. My rottweiler was the sweetest dog with kids and would guard my nieces and nephews like they were his children. I had my dog for 13 years and I NEVER had an incident with him attacking unprovoked. I will warn you to be prepared to have your heart broken because when my dog passed I cried like a baby. Rottweilers are my favorite breed of dog.
