Thats what I think but read in boxing new mag that someone thought he overachieved considering he was knocked down by Miranda and Taylor but got up to win.Under achiever.

Over achiever before Hopkins, an under achiever after.
This is just my opinion, I've never read anything along this line, but I think he lost faith in his trainer and himself after Hopkins.
I'm not saying he would have beaten Martinez if he hadn't fought Hopkins first. I'm saying the Hopkins fight should never have happened, it was a capital error.

Agree. What I will say is that had it not been for his personal problems, be they caused by the Hopkins pasting or not, I reckon Pavlik would still be middleweight champion today. For that reason alone I believe he underachieved.Over achiever before Hopkins, an under achiever after.

True, at least now he leaves with his only losses being to two legit P4P fighters in Hopkins and Martinez. Not some bums or somewhat above average fighter who beat him because he wasn't the same fighter.
