I can't stand him and would prefer it if he was blown up as there would be one less on the list to dictator. Yeah at the beginning a fair few people on our side thought Fascism was the answer to beat out communism. Even the German people were mostly unaware of the horrors that were dealt out onto the Jews though and most who sided with the Nazis in the beginning soon distanced themselves from them once they found out what went going on.
