Remove Floyd and Manny from his CV and in the last 5 years he faced: Michael Kastidis, Likar Ramos (Who?), Serhiy Fedchenko, and Juan Diaz.
Not a who's-who list of killers by any stretch. This is at a time where there have been many tougher options at or around his weight class. I get it, he's 39, and entitled to earn his money. Why take the risk of losing and throwing away a multi-million dollar pay day? So, I'm not saying what he is doing doesn't make perfect business sense. It's just, outside Floyd and Manny, Marquez's choice of opponents in the last five years could be a lot better. He's no Carl Froch when it comes to taking on the toughest options.
How can you be so sure he would beat Bradley comfortably? He didn't look amazing against Kastidis, or against Fedchenko, if you consider that it was Fedchenko. Other than Floyd, when was the last time he fought a boxer (in terms of style) in (or near) his prime? Chris John? You get my point.
By the way, this is by no means an argument that Marquez doesn't deserve the bargaining leverage against Pacquiao after annihilating him in their last fight.

Unless Marquez retires he will fight Manny again this is simply a ploy to get more money as he holds the cards at the moment. Let him have his moment in the limelight.

I expected this from JMM and his fans, no suprises here. For his sake he shouldn't take the fifth fight, its actually a smart and safe decision for JMM.
He basically admits, he wants no more of Pac, what a true mexican warrior!
he knocked that fool unconscious in the most decisive unquestionable unequivocal manner possible and you want him to fight pac again
its over ... no need for another fight .... Marquez won the series of fights with Pac and another installment for him makes little sense, especially considering his age.

Pacquiao only took Marquez on whenever he had no choice or when he figured he was over the hill, and payed for it every time he took on the fight, Knockdowns don't mean shit when your opponent just gets up dusts himself off and continues to kick your ass, Marquez should have W's in the other 3 bouts and just put an exclamation point on how much better he is than Pacquiao by putting Manny down and keeping him down, something your boy could never do to the older, smaller Mexican. Stop your whining and criticizing when Pacquiao is one of the biggest cherry pickers of the last decade.

"We want a 5th fight. If Pacquiao was not knocked out unconscious, he would have won."
-Pactard/PacFanBoy
You gotta be the biggest poor sport. Get over it Pac is done! JMM does not owe him a rematch in about another 3 years. Like Pac did to him and we all know in 3 years JMM will be way too old. Except in the ARUM school of cherry picking opponents.
I liken Pac's gift controversial wins to a virgen getting to first base three times on three dates while JMM got the hotel, the king sized bed, Magnums and Pac-ed Manny in the rear. Time For JMM to smoke a cigar he bagged the homecoming cherry picking queen !!!
As for Julius Rain saying one KO does not win the war. LOL denial on grand scale .. Pac wins two airstrikes JMM drops the atom bomb on Pac. JMM wins the war ! Only in bookkeeping does your opinion hold any merit.
Fin
finito
The end
