Yeah I watched it. He seems to be a mature man now, as I remember him as a little boy attitude. I enjoy when boxers can mature and leave the sport gracefully. He understood his talents had diminished and he quit. Something many boxers find hard to do. You also have to admire his honesty.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
Thanks for posting the video I missed it on TV so great to finally watch it.
Benn is one of my favorite fighters of all time the guy had such heart in the ring and he is now such an honest guy.
Ive had the pleasure of meeting some of my favorite fighters such as Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran but I would give anything to meet Nigel Benn.
Nothings Sweeter Than Sugar
Nigel Benn has always come across as honest and truthful in interviews. He improved himself with ever defeat and came back stronger. He should have got the decision against Eubanks in their return fight.
The documentary where Benn meets Gerald was very emotional.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
That was a great piece. I appreciate the heads up and putting the vid up. I've been hooked on Benn ever since the Dewitt scrap. Fierce honest fighter and as down to earth and real as they come.
