In fairness it was a pretty throwaway line. Its simplicity was testament to that. I am surprised it even elicited a response. I won't try to defend it as it just is what it is. Maybe I should have said that there is no such thing as a soul, or that mass consumers exhibit less heart than people who don't have a choice of packaging types, or said in brackets 'don't take a throwaway comment too literally'.
