Watched Hero yesterday and just noticed the character Sky is Donnie from Ip Man.
In terms of cast, Hero had a powerhouse cast with Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Zhang Ziyi, and Maggie Cheung. "A" level talent all around.
Yeah, on The Grandmasters - I don't expect Tony Leung surpass Donnie Yen in physicalness. But in my book, still worth checking on the strength of Tony's acting (if you didn't see Infernal Affairs 1 - check it out... Scorsese remade it as The Departed - IMO Infernal Affairs was better with the cat and mouse games between the 2 moles) and I liked Wong Kar-wai's earlier movies.
