Great bit of matchmaking. I heard Warren say on Bunce's end of year show that he was close to announcing a mega bill involving Ricky Burns. I had a hunch it would be Vazquez as Broner and Rees was done and there isn't really anyone else you could consider a 'big' fight right now. I think Burns takes it in a good fight.
There's no way Vazquez can be in a good fight. Not possible.
Unless he gets sparked in the first round.
I expect Vazquez to win the actual fight. But offically, with help from the judges, I see Burns winning
Gotta bump this thread
Its a fight between 2 of the top fighters in the division
Credit to both guys for accepting the challenge!
It looks to be an excellent fight on paper, Vasquez is tough & can box with the best of them, but Burns has also proven himself to be a fantastic fighter
I'm siding towards Vasquez but am not very confident
I think it will be a very close, competitive battle
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Burns ud. He should stay away from broner, although his jab could cause some problems for mr bronweather.
After seeing the scores for Frampton vs Martinez it's pretty much a given Vazquez can't win without a knock out. Frampton gets a lot of credit for scoring the knock out. But the scores show he was never gonna lose unless he got stopped.
They sure as hell don't. There was no way Martinez was winning that fight when he got stopped. But there was also no way he was down 4 points either. That's bullshit. I had Frampton up 2 points when he scored the knock out. Anybody have him up more than that can't score a muthafukkin fight
I rest my case
What fight were you watching, are you scoring on aggression Kiko was cut and out boxed it was a tough fight yes. As for Burns he has proven himself, lot's of people don't give this guy credit, he's
a lot better than you think. What about Frampton he did not need the judges, he ko him simple.
Remember a KO ends all the bullshit, I can't see your point it never went the distance.![]()
