Anybody been following the hearing today? His version seems a bit weak to me, you'd have to be ridiculously paranoid to wake up in the middle of the night, hear a noise in the bathroom and jump straight to "it must be a burglar", especially knowing your girlfriend was staying over.

Even then, he said he got the gun and started shouting for the person to come out and for his girlfriend to call the police. Surely she'd have said something at that point to let him know it was just her? I struggle to see how he can not have known at any point during the whole incident that it was her in the bathroom.

Right, it just doesn't make much sense. He hears a noise in the bathroom and doesn't take a glance at the bed to see if she was still there?

When he went back to grab the gun from under the bed he didn't realise that she wasn't there?

She didn't answer back when he's screaming at an intruder to get out the bathroom?

It doesn't add up.

I think what you said, about him going crazy after an argument seems more likely. I guess we'll find out soon enough, they were saying earlier today that they expect it to go to trial within a year.

So they've decided to let Pistorius out on bail because he's "not a flight risk". When pressed on the issue the judge said "Flight risk?!?! The guy can't even run without his legs, why worry about him flying"

Bullets angled downwards through the door aiming onto someone seated is a hard thing to explain. If he was trying to make out like someone else fired the gun that would help but in his case not.

I had a lucky escape the other week.

Broke into this guys house, decided to take a shit in his bathroom before I stole the TV, I heard him wake up and start shouting, some women started to come into the bathroom so I jumped out the window and escaped. Heard some shots fired as I ran, what a lucky escape.
