No more free Floyd fights for us in the UK now. They used to be on Sky.

    I can see the headline:

Two HBO network executives found dead by apparent suicide.

I cannot in anyway see Floyd fighting six times in 2 years. This is backwards for a guy at 36,37 who it took close to five years for that number. Canelo, Martinez and assuming higher weight is not the time to do a cram session to line the pocket and stack a record.

Floyd will not fight 6 times in 30 months. 50-50 chance he'll even fight 3 times in 30 months. It's announced that way so Floyd can call himself the guy who signed the highest paying contract for any athlete ever. Even if that contract is only going to pay per fight. 6 times in 30 months is too ambitious a schedule to keep up with at his age

Of course he wont. Are you that slow? As if Showtime gives a shit whether Floyd fights 6 times in 30 months.

I agree with everyone that this schedule seems a far stretch for Floyd to keep to

Mayweather who has had big gaps of inactivity

But I'm gonna try & stay optimistic & HOPE he does

    Wouldn't it be great!?

I haven't bet against Floyd since Dela Hoya but something tells me Guerrero will beat him on points

We haven't seen the fine print, but I would bet Floyd is going to be fighting more often.

What channel would show his fights then?

They'll still outbid Box Nation if it's a big fight. They may show the Guerrero fight and they'll definitely bid for the Alvarez fight.

I think Floyd could keep fighting every six months for three years. He's not getting any younger and he's going to want to make as much as he can. If he does do all six fights in this deal then he'll be at 49-0 and another win would be a big event.

Do you think they will be on the PPV platform as opposed to the normal sky channel now that it has come back with Froch v Kessler?

They won't be PPV in Britain unless fucking Primetime outbid Sky and Box nation. They have for Manny's last two or three fights.
