If Ishe cant beat K9 he needs to find another line of work. Quite possibly the weakest belt holder in all of boxing.

Ishe Smith is/was a guy with a ton of talent who could never seem to put it all together. On skill, he should beat K9, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him lose (probably because he'll only average 7 punches throw per round).
You get in there with that strong, determined, awkward tank and see how easy it is.
The guy is limited, but he's very difficult to fight. Very strong for the weight class and has a ton of heart. He knows how to land his shots and close the gap to clinch before he gets countered. A bit like Hatton used to be, minus the speed and polish.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Not the greatest fight tonight on Showtime from Detroit, but hey homies it's some championship boxing, and might be a decent tussle. This card starts in the States/Canukland @9:00 PM ET or @3:00 AM for you night owls across the pond in the UK.
Feb. 23
At Detroit (Showtime): Cornelius "K9" Bundrage vs. Ishe Smith, 12 rounds, for Bundrage's IBF junior middleweight title; J'Leon Love vs. Derrick Findley, 10 rounds, junior middleweights; Badou Jack vs. TBA, 8 rounds, super middleweights.

K9 a "world champion." Good grief. If I could make 154 I'd make a comeback.
Alright homies, here we go with the Showtime card, Al Bernstein, Paulie Malignaggi and Mauro calling the action from Detroit, Brian Kenny in the Studio, 1st up J'Leon Love vs. Derrick Findley, 10 rounds, junior middleweights. Floyd the "Promoter" a guest host and working J'Leon Love's corner.
Any man who beat the snot out of Cory Spinks not once but twice!! gets my vote
Honestly, as a "fighter" hes not complete rubbish. Wreckless, wild free swinger with two left feet...give me more! For the life of me I cannot like Ishe Smith. Its not in my DNA. His boring and snoring his way through a fight is so stale. I got K9 on points.
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Style and fan friendly TV wise its Bundrage on plus side. Smith is gloved insomnia and can stink it out enough to make all look bad and put fans to bed. Only thing worse than a champion who may suck a bit is a champion who fights like hes doing you a favor and in slow motion at thatI think challengers would take K9 for all his perceived vulnerability, he is very much punch friendly.
In the back of my mind at jr middle I see...want...Bundrage vs Angulo! Hide the kids.
