It always baffles me that with so many equally or more despicable nations out there, we somehow expect America to be perfect?

America is a very fair nation, politically pure, and ever so fair to its own citizenry and the world at large. Never let a bad word be said the place that gave us KFC which I happen to think, and without any intended irony, is a splendid and glorious product.

Never could I look down upon a place that lies to go to war, invents mass networks of international terror cells, illegally incarcerates people without trial, brings the world to economic ruin, imposes sanctions on others for things it does itself, for opposing international law, for opposing free speech, for having the authority to kill its own citizens, for supporting and abetting global terror, for assasinating leaders of non descript nations.

This is the place that gave me KFC on my birthday. Shame on you BBB for abusing the mighty fine nation that is 'fighting evil' throughout the world.

Nice of you to try and inject some common sense into this thread @AdamGB, but I'm afraid your comment will not make brockton or miles stop and think about their opinions on America and how they might hold America up to a higher standard than other nations....it's OK, it's what America gets all the time because other nations are jealous. England caught that crap before the US did as did France and Spain respectively (but not as much).

brockton, what would your buddy Alex Jones think of what you posted? You seem to respect his views on things, how would he describe America?

miles, you ate KFC on your birthday? Why would you support those capitalist pig dogs? They pay taxes to the US government that you so detest.....you're part of the problem comrade

Not at all. I love KFC and really love their chicken coating, it is very tasty. I did say that I wasn't being ironic. I genuinely like it.

In fact, I was wondering why there was no KFC in this part of the country and it is franchise led and so I have actually done some research in how to open a restaurant. It involves a considerable investment, but seemingly I could operate a branch of KFC. I wouldn't do it myself, but my wife would be great, and I would love to fall back on a free meal now and then for a bit of that coating.

As for same standards. How many nukes do you have? How many bases around the world do you have? How many lies have you made to start wars? America really is not a serious nation when it comes to being fair. It is a hypocrite and the leading cause of terror around the world. It is so because they lied and lied and were so bizarre that they believed the lies and no evidence was produced to support their claims.

Knowing about the inhumane battery and abattoir conditions and the way that third world produce workers are exploited by KFC, will you be boycotting them or do you only limit your moral outrage to corporate tax evasion?

Do you limit that to your own government and illegal human war? How do you know how chickens are treated here? You have no idea! It isn't like there. Farming procedure is different and it is your own operation once starting costs are running. No, I like KFC, despite your pathetic protests. It is certainly better than 'Adam's Geordie pants' which the world ignored.

Again just a silly means for attack, when really you just such a puny, pathetic nobody. I am miles and I love KFC. Adam GB, why GB? So poofy!

It's just a reflection of the power the US wields and the fact that it has such a profound impact on our everyday lives. Any country with that kind of influence is going to heavily scrutinized and criticized.

Agreed, the U.S. is global, so much so that it's influence is felt all over the world. Rather then seeing the U.S being the world's "police force", i'd like to see it being known a unifying "peace force". It takes far less energy to get along 'at least civilly' with a neighbor then it does to be at odds with or at war with them.

P.S. Generally speaking, ordinary 'people' all over the world get along well with each other, it's usually nationalism, politics and religion that fuck things up.

Agree my friend. Understand one thing. The President and Congress are puppets on a string for the rich and powerful. There workers are slaves with little or no rights. Her people will believe whatever they are told.
