Airplane travel is a total drag. I can't fathom how humanity has made so many advances in all fields of technology, and yet air travel remains back in the 1960's. Being in an aluminum can with wings for anything over 1 hour is uncomfortable as far as I'm concerned. Lousy, cramped seats, lousy (or none) food, and yes... the occasional annoying passenger. At least I don't suffer from claustrophobia, like my brother does. He tells me a horror tale of his plane being stuck on a runway for a while, and someone in his vicinity (unidentified) having an upset stomach. You can imagine the rest. Every once in awhile, everyone in the immediate area would scrinch up their nose as a result of someone's gross insensitivity and totally putrid intestines. Finally my brother spoke up in general, recommending that the offender make his/her way to the bathroom and spare the rest of the passengers further agony. The problem was made worse when the plane's crew decided to turn down the A/C while they were waiting on the runway.
