The closest I can think of is the late Corrie Sanders vs Wladimir, maybe Tex Cobb vs Earnie Shavers?

Can you guys think of any? Surely it has happened albeit infrequently but it has to have occured before. I remember Buster Douglas used to go into fights flabby, but vs Tyson he looked in great shape.

    Also wrong...

Oh yeah. Corrie Sanders was a chiseled physical specimen when he fought Wlad.

Except that his waistline was bigger around than his chest.

No helping it TitoFan, best not to argue with anyone....I mean they've obviously never been wrong before

I'm one of the lucky ones. He has me on permanent ignore.
Meanwhile, I see he continues his abrasive ways.

Mentioning Tua and Peter says nothing. Both are heavy, squat, powerfully built fighters. Sanders looked like a weekend warrior, with little definition on his arms and chest, and a noticeable paunch. But whatever.....

Erik Morales came close to pulling off the upset against Maidana while completely out of shape

its hard to answer a question when its examples given to support it are inflammatory and inaccurate.
