I want to see the price nut huggers to make excuses.
    Fury would crush Thompson

Haye needs to start fighting and beating quality heavyweights instead of sitting on his arse.

Always wondered about his chin, but he got caught by a high shot that ko'ed him. Just watching the buncey show on boxnation. I think buncey is right what was price doing on the inside with his left hand down, he seemed to be doing well at distance like he should with his hight and reach. Price has alot to learn.

Don't try and fool yourselves that Fury wouldn't have done exactly the same. Thompson took Prices best shots and he's miles away from being in shape...
I did have big doubts about Price because of the dire opponents he's faced in the past, but I really couldn't have predicted that. I am pretty shocked to say the least.

On this evidence, you've got to make Fury favourite to beat him. In fact, I don't think he could handle the likes of Chisora and certainly not Haye. From being the next heavyweight champion of the world, he's now not even in the top 3 heavyweights in the UK.

I really don't think Price can come back from this. If Thompson can knock him out with a single punch, I certainly don't like his chances against any credible opponent.

In fairness that punch was nowhere near his chin. It looked to be in the temple /ear area and if anyone here has ever been hit on the temple area it destroys ones equilibrium.

Had it on a stream and lost it by time i got it back the fight was over and i didn't know if it was 1st or 2nd round finish. had fiver on Thompson first round at 80/1

Haha not a massive shock for me but it will be made out to be. At least when Lewis was ko'd they were by absolute monster shots that would have stopped 99% heavyweights.

    That's the thing.

The punch that decked him wasn't even a big shot and Thompson is not a puncher. Even when the punch landed, I didn't expect him to go down from it.

He's just been flattened by a washed up, flabby 41-year-old who doesn't have any real power.

People are likening this to Lewis against McCall and Rahman, but they were huge shots that landed flush.

He got banged out. Fact is he was a glorified bum.
That's it, he done well to get this far, his size is the reason he wins.

That's not true, my friend, I'd love to see Price as the heavyweight champ.
