Hold on, your not talking about me?
Lol, I didn't bet this fight.
But this fight at +130 was all about Hopkins.

I'm giving my opinion of a boxer I followed throughout the years.
Not because I follow this one particular boxer, but because I follow multiple combat sports, multiple fighters in each sport, and after putting everything together - the post above is a conclusion of mine.
    Just my opinion.

So at what age does any athlete have to start using to be competitive? And at what age does an athlete have to stop so he doesnt get accused?

I don't think an athlete needs to start in order to be competitive, but it is getting increasingly harder not too.

    Stop what? Usage? Fighting?

If there were more examples of athletes being competitive especially boxers, then we could make much better comparisons.

One more thing, people are STILL not suspicious about athletes doping?
After the athlete who was tested more times, by the best standards, MULTIPLE TIMES MORE THAN ANY ATHLETE, positive tests never came to light?

People were still suspicious about him for years.

But let's not be suspicious about Hopkins, denied better testing, and Pacquiao (phobia of needles)?

Hopkins looks like he is 48 and his body says it. Toney was never in shape in his latter years and was a jelly ball for the last 12 years of his career. Hopkins has slowed considerably but has gotten smarter and obviously has less punching power than he had. Maybe they dont make them like they used to or is that too good to be true.

MMA, Randy Coutre etc etc has squat to do with boxing or specifically whether or not Hopkins is doing peds.

Why someone like Hopkins is suspect is beyond me.
    LOL

There is nothing in a career spanning a quarter of a century to suggest that Bernard Hopkins is juiced. The Mongoose must have been juiced along with Dixon, Wilde and Greb. No way does Babe Ruth hit a ball like that w/o chemistry.

Exactly, there is nothing aside from him being so freakishly effective at his age to actually suggest he's on anything.

To use his punch output as evidence is especially ridiculous imo. He threw more punches against a plodding dope in Tavoris Cloud than he did years ago against Jermain Taylor.... So what? Who on earth wouldn't? Great case work as usual from detective Ross Taylor was faster than him, it really isn't that complicated. Those fights we all saw him throw very few meaningful shots per round compared to most of his recent wins around that time as well. The only time there was ever a striking physical change in Hopkins was after losing to Taylor and moving up to 175 in the first place. And guess what, even then he didn't throw much because Tarver had quick hands.

Now of course you can never rule anyone out in this day and age, but the fact is Hopkins is as skillful and meticulous as anyone out there and he wins fights on account of it.

    Archie Moore and George Foreman?

Foreman took a decade off of fighting between ages 28-38.
Didn't necessarily live in the gym, as Hopkins does, post retirement.
IMO, he relied on his power and natural abilities.

Moore? Simple, they don't make them like that anymore
