My fear for Scott Quigg if big fights don’t come soon - Joe Gallagher - Manchester Evening News

It is not the only BIG domestic contest either with four middleweights that could be matched and other matches that could be big ticket sellers. Have the UK promoters taken their eyes of the ball in being so eager to either protect their fighters or get them world title shots that they have ignored lucrative opportunities at home?

It is not just about money either. It may be a gamble but waiting for a fighter to have a title belt to bargain with is often unnecessary here and opportunities have been wasted.

Price - Fury
Khan -Brook
etc

Is Quigg - Frampton doomed too ?
We hang our hat on these BIG domestic fights at times but all they do is ruin one fighter and fill the winning fighters head that he can take on the world. Sometimes, it'd be nice to see these guys prove themselves at top level before fighting each other.
