I don't think he'll step up, if he does I think he'll be found out, just like price was and fury will be.
Yes, I'm aware sir. I was responding to another boxing nerd who said he thought the fight with Sherman Williams should have been a draw, when it should not have.

I say Helenius vs. Malik Scott next ! Let's see that shit !
    Ah my bad mate.

I like Malik Scott but he's a bit featherfisted for a heavyweight, yet entertaining and effective.
    You say tomato,
    ‘n I say …… it correctly.

You can say Chisora beat Helenius. He also stole one from Tank Williams, which should have easily have been a draw.
How can a guy that beat Peter and Brewster to crisps, just totally bum out against mediocre and average opposition?

Let's be fair, Chisora is average and Tank Williams is mediocre.
But Peter was only ever slightly above average. Slow and fat. Beating a washed up version of this fighter isn't impressive.

Watch that fight again. What did Helenius REALLY do to win that fight? If that fight was on US soil, it would have been a draw. But because Helenius was at his home crowd, he got the off-the-top points from the judges- and judges need to stop that shit. Because guys like Mayweather come in with points already scored, just for showing up!!

Helenius LOST that fight with Chisora. Chisora was robbed.

I won't argue there. Sam Peter is a long ways from the guy that tore Maskaev and Williams's head's off and the one that knocked Wladimir down three times.

I watched it closely the first time and was rooting hard for Sherman the whole way. He simply did not do enough to earn a draw. He fought his fat ass off though. Guy's a rugged warrior.

Yes Chisora won damn near every round. Top 3 worst robberies of last year.

At least Helenius brings some new blood to the HW decision, he'll always be a contender, and never defeat a Klitscko brother, but there's some decent scraps for him down the line. Ever notice how Helenius keeps getting "injured"?

Williams ain't fat, it's just his body type. Most guys will never get that chisled look.

Anyways, I scored the fight a draw. Helenius didn't deserve the off the top decision.

As bad as Helenius is he has come back from a serious injury and he it has stalled his development. I do not think he will be great but he does take a good punch and as some heart.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Solis? Briggs? Stiverne? What will this do for him?

    !
Solis? Briggs? Stiverne? What will this do for him?
Stiverne actually beat Helenius and David Price in the amatuers and has built up a solid and respectable record for himself, making his way up the ladder. It would prove to people like myself that Helenius can fight up and coming, hard hitting boxers that can fight. Stiverne can fight.

Solis is another good boxing test for Helenius, and Solis has a name brand you can relate to. Solis is also an up and coming prospect who lobbied himself, much quicker than Helenius has, to a fight for the title againts Vitali. Sure, the fight ended in a shit fashion- but he lobbied himself to get there. Helenius doesn't look like he wants to fight the big fights, if he takes this and tags himself to the Solis fight with Vitali, he can move one inch closer to a belt and some respect!

I kid you not- Briggs is a lot better than many of the guys out there in the fringes. He also fought Vitali, plus he is seen as a durable fighter. Hard hitting and very exciting. Can carry KO power into the late rounds, plus experience in with being a name brand. He doesn't have to take a Briggs fight, but people would believe he is something more than what he is if he takes a fight like a Shannon Briggs. Plus, Briggs is no Rahman- who is all about done, fat and lazy!

I would believe Briggs would get another shot at a title against the Klits than Helenius is to getting one shot at the Klits, or Povetkin for that matter!

Shannon Briggs was supremely talented. Beautiful left hook, amazing agility and speed for such a big man. He just had a bit of a weak chin and much like Kermit Cintron, he constantly doubted himself in the ring.
