This is a good choice for Price.

Every says "no chin" but remember what actually happened, it was a freak punch that bust his eardrum.

He he never took a shot on the chin and never got beaten down.
Doesn't matter where he gets hit. He just has poor punch resistance. There's just no way around that.

Maybe but, he can work on defenses.

I don't personally think it was poor punch resistance. Just a weird punch, I'll judge when he gets Hilton the chin solid.

He needs to learn how to fight!

He lnows how to punch but he needs to be dragged in to a fight. He needs some tough old journey men that cant punch.

Thompson was challenging Wlad last year, thats not the level he should have been thrown in against after facing the likes of Sexton, Harrison and Skelton.

He hasnt learnt anything about how to come back from adversity during a fight. He got caught, went down and couldnt do anything about it.

His punch resistance will let gim down again. I thought the shape Thompson came in was disgusting and he had no desire to put a fight up, just collect some money. Even then he still managed to connect. If he omes in in shape next time after this mini career revival then Prices career is all but over against a 40 something who wasnt good enough to win a title.

Well done both fighters - Thompson must be getting a decent payday and Price a short one to get swift redemption. Long way back for Price if he loses again though

Agreed. His career is on the line, if this fight goes the way the first one--a KO in any round--Price will never be taken seriously again.
Good luck to both. A huge fight for Price, but not a huge fight as fights go. Still, everyone will be watching.

    I agree.

This time he has respect. He'll be walking backwards instead. And he knows he's getting knocked out

Price needs to stay switched on next time and forget all the hype for now. I'm not a huge fan because just haven't seen him in a good fight where he can show us that he is a proper fighter. I expect him to win comfortably and do what he should have done first time round.

I just hope Thompson comes in fit and motivated which i'm sure he will because he feels he was disrespected first time.

I'm happy to criticise Price for a poor performance last time, he didn't show good punch resistance but after thinking about it, it could be not just that he doesn't take a punch well, I think complacency and not being mentally prepared to take much punishment caused him to not handle the punch when it did land. He can make amends though.

Massive respect to Price for chasing the rematch and getting it, that has made me more of a fan. Would have been better for Thompson to make him go to America for it but then they wouldn't be getting paid well for it so that's fair enough that it's in the UK. No one can knock Price for taking the rematch, it shows bottle what ever the outcome is. I will never forgive Khan for not wanting a rematch with Prescott, that's why I will never be a Khan fan and watch him fight hoping he gets spanked like a ginger stepkid.
