Instant Reply will be interesting. How will it work? At the end of every round, technicians will go into overdrive and see if anything was missed? Will the fight be stopped to examine the film?

Mostly for fouls, did a punch or head butt cause a cut, did a glove touch the canvas or not.
Here is the big one though. WHEN THE REFEREE WAS OUT OF POSITION!!!!! Was that a low blow, did his glove touch the canvas, was his mouthpiece knocked out or spit out, was he pushed or knocked down, did he trip or get knocked down.
We've all been pissed off by a missed call because the ref was out of position.
Have no idea about how it will be implemented.
It will be implemented for those things you have already mentioned. We have had instant replay for ever but its just never been used as a tool for a rule. I'm fine with it as long as its not abused or takes away from the ref. The ref should also be the only one to rule on the replay. Not some suit in a booth upstairs. I'm actually more worried about the corners crying about something after every round. Decisions have been changed in the past using instant reply. I think its a great idea for the non calls alone. I just cringe anytime Jose is involved in anything though.
AWESOME news. I'm sure it will be far from perfect and there will be snags, but this is an absolutely necessary step for boxing to stay relevant.
This fight is on Box Nation.![]()
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
It is sad that decades after its been used in every other sport it has been brought to boxing and deemed revolutionary, I suppose better late than never but good god man.
