If you are relatively new to boxing, you may learn a lot from watching raw novices box.

You can learn from all levels but the most important thing is how you watch:

Why did boxer A get hit by a particular counter? Did he telegraph? Did he not make an attempt to defend after throwing? Did he throw from too far away? Was he leaning forward and off balance? etc etc etc.

Why did boxer A land a particular punch? Did he feint first? Did he mix up his attack (head / body, angle of punch)? Was the punch set up by previous actions? etc etc etc.

Look at different scenarios with purpose i.e. trying to understand exactly what has taken place and why certain movements were effective or ineffective. Look for similar scenarios with other boxers and compare the outcome.
