Is anyone else skeptical that Lamont Peterson is on drugs for this fight? There was supposed to be 24/7 drug testing and for some unknown reason there wasn't. Peterson has failed drug tests before. Frankly, it sounds like Matthysse is an idiot. He has a shot at a big-money fight with Garcia if he wins, and he doesn't enforce drug testing against Peterson, who is a known cheat?

He asked for random testing and was told they would be getting it from USADA but it never materialised. Same thing with Paulie asking, being told he was getting USADA and not getting it for the Broner fight. I think GBP just don't trust their boxers to not get caught taking PEDs and fucking up an event/GBP's schedule. The whole random testing thing is just a fucking joke now. Hilariously, Peterson's management are saying they're doing their own random testing to prove he's clean. These are the people who pumped him full of synthetic testosterone. I wonder if he does test positive will they make it public?

Im going for Peterson myself. I think he has abit more to his game & can use his skills whereas mathysse is abit rough around the edges. Peterson may have to get off the floor to win as Lucas will be dangerous throughout but if Lamont uses his left hand abit more instead of getting involved i think he takes a 115-113 kind of margin

Damn, I am on my way to NYC, my wife will make me too miserable if I don't take her. At least I will have a nice Peking Duck in the City. My wife understands I need to get back to see the fight. Cant see it. His title is not even on the line. And btw I buy his explanation as to the previous test. The amounts found were not indicative of a guy cheating but rather using for physical rehab. In fact it was below the accepted amount. Perhaps Lucas is not forcing the issue because he's juicing.

Has Peterson asked for a medical exemption that allows him to restore his testosterone levels to 'normal' whatever that is, for this fight? If not then has he had a miraculous recovery or does he think he will cope now there are no titles on the line?

Matthysse is as tough as nails and I'd have a hard time betting against him in this fight. Petersen's only chance would be to box his way to a decision, I think. But something tells me it won't go the 12 rounds.
