Aagghhh.... it's pointless to argue about Zab versus JuanMa. The argument is going to fall along "party lines", as usual. But to claim JuanMa was a "hype job" is just plain stupid. He's a two-weight division champion, same as Zab. He's got a better record than Zab, strictly from a Won-Loss perspective and particularly in KO percentage. These things themselves don't carry an argument, sure... but then again, no one is claiming Zab is a hype job, right?

About the only thing I'd add regarding the comparison is that JuanMa has fallen more steeply off his two losses, than Zab fell after his more famous losses. Zab came back and regained at least some of his form and previous luster. It's still to be seen whether JuanMa can do the same.
