I think 4 rounds left over is enough to give somebody who is loosing a fight a chance against any boxer...never mind somebody who was slowing with a duffed up hand. Under the circumstances i think it was cruel to deny Purdy his chance to come back in the fight.. He was loosing.. But he was taking everything Alexander had to throw at him..Purdy had a chance to turn the fight around no matter how slim it was.. He was pleading with his corner not to stop the fight.

It was stopped too soon. Disagree with me if you want to but know that you are wrong. I wonder how people would have reacted to Burns being stopped last week, after all he was in a similar situation.
