What you actually got across, what you actually wrote was that both these things happened at the same time. There are posts where you're arguing that both these things happened and calling me an idiot because I didn't agree.

When Benghazi happened and the conspiracy theories started lots of Republicans locked onto them, whether it was "he left them there to die" or "he was missing/unconcrened while Americans fought for their lives". Despite months of politically-motivated GOP investigations there's no evidence of either thing -- you said yourself yesterday this is all about a fucking memo now -- but the reason you and others can't leave this alone is that it fits in with the idea you have of Obama -- that he's not authentically American, doesn't care about Americans and so on. So this Benghazi crap resonates with the kind of people who believe/d he was born in Kenya and is a non-event for everybody else.

Well either I mistyped or you have a reading comprehension problem because it was always either or, not both.

I would say they reacted to the situation as best they could; they may have made mistakes in their reaction and there may be things they'd like to change about it but they did the best they could at the time and didn't actively do anything to hurt/endanger Americans. They may have tried to shade the news coverage afterwards but so fucking what? That's what every administration does with every single domestic and international event/situation every day, never mind in the middle of an election campaign.

Stand down orders WERE GIVEN by who is anyone's guess and Obama's whereabouts during those attacks are unknown but for a short conversation with Gen. Dempsey and Sec. Panetta and that's it nobody saw nor heard from him again until after the attacks were over....convenient how he seemingly slithered away from responsibility though the man has a knack for doing that

Hmmmm that could mean either A) Obama was absent during the attacks or B ) Obama is lying....either way it's bad Kirkland, there's no option C) "I wanted to help but everyone else said I shouldn't", the buck stops with the President and he has to answer directly for the action he did or did not take that's just life right there.

As an American citizen, I would have had LESS trouble with Obama had he sent in help and more people died trying to save the lives of their fellow Americans....but just leaving people to die there and then on top of that LYING about it....you'd defend him for damn near everything wouldn't you?
